8 new Covid cases in Bac Ninh

By the evening of May 12, Bac Ninh had recorded a total of 131 Covid-19 cases, including 8 new cases, recorded in Thuan Thanh district (5 cases), Ho Chi Minh City. Bac Ninh has 2 cases and 1 case in Yen Phong district.
Regarding 33 outbreaks in the area, Bac Ninh has now traced more than 2,400 F1 and more than 4,000 F2. The province has tested nearly 50,000 samples.
After recording the cases of construction workers at Samsung, Canon, the whole province checked overnight and performed a quick test to trace.
Currently, Bac Ninh has deployed 2 field hospitals in Gia Binh and Tien Du districts to receive positive cases and symptomatic F1 cases.
Leaders of the Department of Health said that the province's PCR testing capacity is at 20,000 samples per day, but in the next 15 days it will increase to 30,000 samples to serve the rapid epidemic prevention.
