Hanoi bustles again as social distancing restrictions eased

On the morning of September 21, the diversity of vehicles increased on the major streets of Hanoi after the social distancing rules were eased. Life on trade streets and markets has gradually returned to a bustle.
On Tay Son – Nguyen Luong Bang Street, vehicles pouring into the city’s centre increased sharply compared to the previous days.
There were also more personal cars this morning than the same time last week.

At 8am, vehicles were still crowded waiting for the signal lights on Hang Bai Street.

A temporary market on Nguyen Van To Street was also more crowded this morning.
Functional forces are removing barriers at checkpoints on Tran Phu Street, Hoan Kiem District.
